Local Hero: Little H in Parson’s Green

I have explored my share of local cafe’s in and around London and while there are a few spots that take the cake one of absolute favourite South West spots has to be Little H situated in Parson’s Green.

Despite loving everything on offer, what keeps me coming back is their ability to make the perfect flat white.

And after moving to London, I discovered that quite a few places get them wrong; burning the coffee, not foaming the milk correctly etc.

A perfect flat white has a smooth milky taste, that enhances the flavour of the bean instead of detracting from it, and I have yet to have a bad brew at Little H, as their espresso is top quality and they have nailed the art of microfoam which entails steaming the milk to create a thick, smooth and velvety texture and no large bubbles.

Not a coffee fan? That’s ok because on top of their killer coffee, their take away and eat in options such as speciality smoothies, salads and sandwiches are equally scrumptious.

With eat-in and take away options, Little H offers at least three home made salads each day, alongside freshly baked treats that always include a few gluten-free options as well.

My favourite? You can’t go wrong with their GF almond and banana muffins.

 Little H is open Monday-Friday 7:30-5pm and Saturday-Sunday 9am-5pm.
