This brings me to Paola’s latest creation; Boxerina, a fusion of pilates, ballet and boxing. Guaranteed to get your heart racing and endorphins pumping.
Combining the grace and poise required in ballet and pilates as well as the functional fitness of circuit training and the kick-butt fundamentals of boxing, all these disciplines have a lot more in common than meets the eye
Think balance, coordination and strength.
Each class begins with Paola’s signature barre sequence and follows with functional exercises such as burpees, squats and planks. Then, get ready to throw down with the pads and gloves, because amidst these circuits you’ll also be shadow boxing with a partner.
Not only is Boxerina a calorie-torching workout targeting your stabilising muscles, but it will leave you feeling fierce and ready to take on the world.
